3 Must-Have Sales Tools You Need To Close This Year Strong

The 4th quarter of 2023 is coming up fast and while many industries and sales reps are worried, there are countless reps unintentionally starting to take their foot off the gas pedal and slowing down.

This is not the year or the market to take your foot off the gas. In fact, I believe the next 2-3 years will be determined, based on what you do in these next two quarters.

I am determined to give you tools that you can use today, most at no cost to you. All you have to do is the actions. The tools are for you to use and grow your business.

Here are 3 tools you can use to keep your momentum going or to get it going!

  1. Power List The Power List is a simple tool, developed by Andy Frisella, that I have been using for many years and in fact am using at this moment. All you have to do is write down 3-5 non-negotiable items that you are to complete for that day. The 5 non-negotiable items are only items that move your life and business forward. You do not put routine items on this list. For example you would not put house showings on the list because that is a routine "no-brainer" appointment. You may put prospect 5 people for a buyer on the list or work out if you are working to make that into a new routine. The point of this list is to bring your life forward and complete the most important tasks while servicing the business and life you already have. I started by creating 3 tasks a day and built up to 5.

  2. Momentum Formula Goal Momentum is a very simple formula that everyone should understand. Massive Action + Weight of Emotion = Momentum What exactly does this mean? The more actions you take with the heaviest emotions behind the action, will result in the largest results. When you understand this formula, anything is possible at an easier level. It is not enough to have logic or even actions. If you only focus on actions with no emotions you will find yourself burned out and running in circles. If you find yourself full of emotions and no actions, well you will find yourself an utter mess. You need both to truly get the results you are looking for.

  3. Coaching How many times have you found yourself stuck in your head, in your way and wished there was a way out? Many times "we know what we need to do, we just need to do it." but that never happens. The reason it does not happen is because A) We will let ourselves down before we let someone else down and B) We are truly stuck with only what we know. The problem is you only know what you know. Coaching is amazing when you hire the right coach. Hire someone that has been where you want to go. Look for a coach with true processes and systems. Most importantly look for a coach who invests in themselves as much as they are asking you to invest in yourself. Coaching should yield you 3-4x what you are spending. You should see an increase in sales, profits and business. Would you spend $3,000 to make $15,000?
